I am excited to serve as the Permian Basin FCA Sports Director! It is a blessing to join a staff, board, and community that is already doing so much to further the kingdom in this area.
The last three years, I was on staff with Abilene Christian University women’s basketball. I started as the graduate assistant coach and was the director of operations and an assistant coach my last two seasons. I earned my master's in organizational development while in Abilene. During my time at ACU, we launched back-to-back 20-win campaigns with a 22-9 showing in the 2025-26 regular season. My last season we returned to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament's Super 16 with an automatic berth, matching the program's deepest postseason run. Prior to joining ACU, I worked for the Texas Tech women's basketball program as a student assistant. I am a Texas Tech alum and love cheering for the Red Raiders.
The Permian Basin is a special place to me. My grandparents have lived in Greenwood 60 years, and I worked at a church in Midland for the three summers I was in college. My familiarity with the region and the kindness of west Texas folks make the 432 feel like home.
FCA Sports holds the same vision and mission as traditional FCA. Ministering to athletes and coaches at the middle school, high school, and college level has been FCA’s successful strategy since 1954. Through FCA Sports, that unaltered strategy focuses on 1st – 6th grade athletes and their coaches, who are primarily parents. This creates a unique opportunity to impact the spiritual development of an entire home through one athlete. The possibilities within FCA Sports are as great as you can dream. As it has grown throughout the U.S. and Texas, common ministry frameworks are leagues, clubs, summer camps, elementary huddles, and family nights. These methods all serve the same purpose – to create a space where the Gospel can be learned, loved, and lived by every participating coach and athlete. I am approaching developing a FCA Sports program with patient ambition...eager to get started and remaining steadfast in its maturation. When you see the FCA Sports logo in the Permian Basin, my desire is for it to represent a competitive sports program committed to changing the lives of families in this community through the hope of the Gospel, led by a director who is surrendered to the Spirit. I am so hopeful, and it is my honor to do this with you.
